Some dogs tolerate nail grinding better than trimming. Dog’s nails contain a blood vessel called the “quick” and a nerve that can lead to bleeding and pain if the nail is cut too short. By grinding your dog’s nails it also allows us to get rid of the sharp edges left after the cutting.
